EMPRESS

About me: I'm an extrovert with big dreams! I like going out to different places I have never been before (on a budget of course), listening to music while singing my heart out, and also staying in and watching movies or TV shows. My favorite part of a meal is dessert and anything sweet is for me! I'm someone who enjoys being around people and making new friends. I'm sometimes shy, but I open up pretty quickly and can talk to anyone for a good amount of time. My dreams and aspirations in life are to one day star in films and travel the world.

Why EMPRESS? Once I transferred to UF, I knew that I wanted to join a sorority in order to make friends. I watched a lot of movies involving sororities and I knew that I wanted to make those lifetime connections that all the girls seemed to have. I also wanted to find a place where I felt like I could belong. During my first week, I decided to go to a recruitment event for EMPRESS where I ended up meeting some of the most welcoming girls I had ever met. I instantly knew that they could be people I could get along with for a long time. Even upon meeting them for the first time, I could feel their connectivity with one another and also how individualistic and unique each one of the members was. Their positivity radiated, and I felt like they were truly a part of something that I also wanted to be involved in.
