EMPRESS

About me: I love music including singing, playing video games, and making poems in my free time! I enjoy making playlists so let me know if you ever need some recs 👀I am a total fan of MARVEL! My favorite character is Iron Man and I am always down for a MARVEL marathon. I love reading books and discussing social issues including anything about life(those 3 am talks you know what I mean). I love anything that deals with the ocean, the galaxy, blue, and the stars. My favorite show is Sherlock and I love any movie or tv show that has action, adventure, or fantasy in it! I am also a huge fan of anything that deals with crime and psychology like Criminal Minds and Mindhunter!! I also like anime and manga like AOT or Haikyuu. As of now, I'm currently in love with the Mandalorian(BABY YODA LITERALLY GIVES ME SEROTONIN) and anything having to do with Star Wars. Furthermore, if you ever need someone to try new food with, I am always down to do it!! Lastly, when you first meet me I can be quite shy but I can be really animated and talkative once you really get to know me!

Why EMPRESS? I chose EMPRESS because I wanted to find a group of individuals who I could truly connect with who strongly identified with their gender and culture. In the end, coming into this organization gave me a group of strong female leaders who were not afraid to chase after their aspirations, but it also gave me a family I could lean on and a support system I am thankful for. For another reason, I chose EMPRESS because of their philanthropy in mental health awareness which is something I am very passionate about and I admire them for their efforts. It’s something I hold very dear to my heart and was a good motive for me to be interested in EMPRESS. Nonetheless, I love EMPRESS because it gave me a place where I can truly be myself and find a group of people I know I can count on when I need it.

Favorite EMPRESS Memory? I would say my favorite memory was the Fall 2019 Retreat at Jacksonville!
