About me: I'm a foodie who enjoys eating seasonal doughnut holes from Dunkin' Donuts. The valentine heart shaped ones. Mmmmmm... YUM. On a typical day, I'm either working or eating – okay, maybe a little bit of both too. I'm not your typical "Netflix and chill" kind of girl – I'm more of the "K-drama and cry" type of person. You get to see all sides of me when we both cry over why the second guy lead never gets the female lead. I don't own a physical planner because I can't find myself to be as aesthetic as bullet journal enthusiasts are – extremely long to-do lists are where it's at. Oh yeah, and Google Calendar has my heart for my important dates. English and Cantonese are my main languages but I can also dabble a little bit in Mandarin, Spanish, and Korean. If I were fluent enough, I'd be typing this portion of my bio in Español to impress you, but you'll just have to settle for English. I currently have this small obsession with bananas and anything that's remotely pale yellow or pastel. I love the family I have created on this campus and I can't wait to share some love to you too.

Why EMPRESS? I joined EMPRESS because, from my eyes, it was different than other orgs. I could see that each member held a strong bond with one another, and it was something that I was looking for. Coming to UF, I started out with a part-time job as a freshman, so – ideally – all my time was just school and work, thus I never was able to find a group of girls that would eventually become my ride-or-die's. I joined various other organizations on campus, hoping to find a group of girls that I could become friends with, but it became difficult as semesters went by and people already had their established "squads." To me, EMPRESS is like a home away from home, a group of girls who cheer each other on, a family where everyone is thought of and never forgotten. The members of EMPRESS have welcomed me with open arms and I'm so happy I've been given the opportunity to join these beautiful, kind-hearted women.
