EMPRESS

About me: I have a passion for food - I love trying new foods or cooking and baking for my friends ("her Au Gratin potato dish is FIRE" -- Tiff). I enjoy playing sports, hanging out with my friends, gossiping over boba, and music. A talent I have is that I play the viola. If you know me, you also know that I love all things Disney & Marvel. I have lost track of how many times I have been to Disney World, I have even participated twice in Dapper Day. If you ever need someone to duet with you in Disney karaoke, hmu!

Why EMPRESS? I was not actively seeking out EMPRESS -- for me, it all happened by chance. I knew I wanted to be part of something bigger to enhance my college experience, and I genuinely believe I have found it here with my EMPRESS family. I joined because EMPRESS has values that are parallel to my own. The women involved are strong and I know they will empower and motivate me to become a better leader and member of society. I joined not only to find a sisterhood, but to make an impact as well.

Favorite EMPRESS memory? My favorite EMPRESS memory is actually when I was going through the recruitment events! I loved attending all the events and meeting all the new girls. The amazing thing was I couldn't tell who were active members and who were potential recruits like me because everyone was so warm and welcoming. I knew then how much I wanted to be part of EMPRESS IG, because I knew it was a place I could be myself.
