EMPRESS

About me: I am an INFP which means that I strive to be caring towards others, always looking for a balance, and being a perfectionist. I've always lived by the saying "in the end, we only regret the chance we didn't take" so I tend to push myself to do things out of my comfort zone.

On most days, you will find me lounging around, studying, or eating way too much food out of boredom. I enjoy making art, watching Asian dramas or mukbangs, and spending time with the people that I love. I also spend way too much time (and money) at Hobby Lobby and Target heh. I'm the type of person that loves to laugh so I love surrounding myself with people that can brighten my day.

Why EMPRESS? I wanted a genuine group of people that I could surround myself with and trust them wholeheartedly. As cliche as it sounds, I wanted "a home away from home."

I attended an EMPRESS GIM out of curiosity because I already knew a few amazing people that are in it. I knew after my first GIM that EMPRESS was what I was looking for (special shout out to Tiff for reaching out to me after). The girls in EMPRESS gave me a sense of community and they welcomed me from day one. From keeping track of the nth time I left my bottle to my mentor for being there to guide me. EMPRESS has been more than understanding, accepting and welcoming to me.

Favorite EMPRESS memory? My favorite memory was when the girls showed up after our introduction to surprise us. They put a lot of effort into hiding such a big group behind counters and beeping every person in through the gate. The trouble they went through to do that for us was incredibly heartwarming and made me feel even more loved and welcomed.​
