About me: Hello!! ⊂(´ï½¥â—¡ï½¥⊂ )∘˚˳° My personality type is INFP-T, so I’m usually pretty quiet and reserved when I first begin talking to people but once I get comfy I can become a little more extroverted and I laugh really easily. I love spending my free time crocheting (cat hats, stuffed animals, you name it and I’ve probably tried to crochet it) and watching shows, or doodling and creating art. I really value spending time with my friends and just hanging out, and my ideal night would be spent eating a good meal that I cooked, getting boba, and sitting outside on the porch to enjoy some cool weather and the outside air. I also love to go on drives at night with the windows down because it feels super refreshing. All in all I’m just a person who loves really hard and values friendship over almost everything else. If you ever see me on campus, feel free to strike up a conversation!! I may be shy but I’m always open to meeting new people :D

Rapid Fire Favorites: Haikyuu!!, Stray Kids, oolong honey milk tea, sweaters, and cats.

Why EMPRESS? Ever since starting my journey at UF, I felt a void that I couldn’t really describe but I knew needed to be filled. I was never super involved with student orgs on campus, but I really wanted a place where I felt welcome and felt like I could make it a home. For me, EMPRESS ended up being that place. For the first time in my life I felt like I was needed, and every time I showed up to an EMPRESS event people were excited to see me. Beyond just the social void I felt, I had (and still have) a lot of room to grow professionally and I feel like EMPRESS is a great environment for me to do that. Since joining EMPRESS I’ve taken on so much that I never expected myself to do, and along the way learned about how much I was discounting myself and my abilities. EMPRESS has taught me that if I set my mind to something, I’m capable of doing it no matter what reservations I may have about it in the beginning.

Favorite EMPRESS memory? After a really hard week for me during my first recruitment season with EMPRESS, I was cooking dinner for my friends and I (and almost setting the kitchen on fire oop-) and I heard a knock at the door. Two of our lovely members Jessie and Megan (i love u guys) surprised me with a bouquet of chocolate-covered strawberries and a card, and I almost cried because I’ve never had someone surprise me with something like that before. It was super thoughtful and really showed how much EMPRESS girls care for each other. ALSO when I found out that Yana was my mentor bc I was secretly hoping that it was going to be her <33
