EMPRESS

About me: Hey everyone! I’m a fourth year accounting major at the University of Florida with plans to pursue a masters degree in accounting at the University of North Florida. I have a job offer lined up as an audit associate with PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), one of the Big 4 accounting firms. I was born and raised in Jacksonville, Florida; however, my family is originally from the Philippines (specifically Tarlac City and Capas). In my free time I like to hit the gym, journal, read (when I can actually pick up a book and start it lol), listen to music (lately my favorites have been Bazzi, Brian McKnight, Billy Crawford, JR Aquino, AJ Rafael, Jesse Barrera, and Queen Naija), spend time with loved ones, and do anything outdoors! I have a two-year-old son named Jasper, who has taught me that I am capable of so much and has been my biggest motivation to succeed in college <3

Why EMPRESS? I joined EMPRESS because I was looking for a sense of community. In high school, I joined different organizations specifically for titles and prestige. I made a promise to myself to find an organization in college that would help me grow personally, socially, and professionally. When came out to the Fall 2019 recruitment events, I connected with so many girls within EMPRESS, and I knew from the start that these girls were the most supportive, genuine, passionate, and dedicated girls I have ever met.
